Transformation Details
The goal of this Voorhees kitchen renovation was to transform a compact footprint into an open, highly functional work area without sacrificing prep room or storage.
By replacing original cabinetry with dark Shaker cabinetry running along both main walls, the layout optimizes every inch of space surrounding the range, refrigerator, and sink. The addition of recessed puck lighting built into the overhead soffits ensures bright, targeted illumination across the granite counters during meal preparation.
To extend the impact beyond the kitchen footprint, new light wood-look plank flooring was installed throughout the entire first floor. The light tones of the new flooring provide a warm contrast to the espresso cabinets while creating a unified transition into adjacent rooms and entryways.
