We then went through and created a walk in shower space designed to accommodate any handicapped person that uses it. This new walk in shower space features gray subway tiling, an in shower shelf for easy storage of soaps, an easy to reach shower head, and a curtain was added to this walk in shower allowing handicapped persons to easily get in and get out of the shower. Along with the shower we also built in a custom shelving unit into the wall, and added a handrail next to the shower to further assist with getting in and out of the wet space.
